Celtics fans who donate winter children coats to benefit Cradles to Crayons will have the opportunity to meet and shop with Celtics players

The Celtics Women’s Group and Modell’s Sporting Goods will be hosting the second leg of their Holiday coat drive to benefit Cradles to Crayons, a local non-profit organization that provides clothing and supplies for children in need. Fans are asked to donate new or gently used children’s winter coats to Modell’s Medford location to help these kids this winter season. In exchange, fans will have the opportunity to meet Celtics forwards Glen Davis and Leon Powe, shop for the holidays with them, get a photo, autograph and see the 2008 Larry O’Brien NBA Championship Trophy. Powe will be in the store from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Davis will appear from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. |
