JAMAL CRAWFORD FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES DEBUT OF OFFICIAL WEB SITE

New site covering foundation’s activities and efforts is found at www.jamalcrawford.org

New York Knicks guard Jamal Crawford announced today the debut of his foundation’s official Web site www.jamalcrawford.org. The new site will premier on the World Wide Web at 9 a.m. EST this Thursday, Jan. 17.

"With all the interest in the Jamal Crawford Foundation, our new Web site will make it easy for friends of the organization to keep apprised of our latest events and activities," said Crawford, who started the foundation in 2004. "We know our foundation’s mission of improving lives will only be enhanced with the presence of our official Web site."

Among the highlights of the new Web site are feature stories on Jamal Crawford’s personal history growing up in Los Angeles, moving to Seattle, playing for the New York Knicks and creating the Jamal Crawford Foundation and its charitable efforts. The site also includes an interactive feature where fans can e-mail questions to Jamal, videos of Crawford’s Buzzer Beaters and a tool for making online charitable donations to the foundation.

“We are thrilled by how far the Jamal Crawford Foundation has come since its inception three years ago,” said Crawford, whose foundation recently refurbished a library at PS 58. “We know that establishing our presence on the Web only increases our exposure and will allow us to accomplish even more for those in need.”

The mission of the Jamal Crawford Foundation is to provide inner-city children with experiences and activities to strengthen both their minds and bodies leading to well-rounded adults.
