Elizabeth “Liz” Cambage plays for the Bulleen Boomers of the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBL) in Australia and the Tulsa Shock of the Women’s National Basketball League (WNBA). She is also a member of the Australia Women’s National Basketball Team.

WNBL (Australia): Liz played her junior basketball with Dandenong Rangers, joining their WNBL team for the 2007-08 season. In 2007, she accepted a scholarship to the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and played for the AIS WNBL team, based in Canberra, for the remainder for the 2007-08 season and all of the 2008-09 season.

In 2009-10, Liz returned to Melbourne to play with the Bulleen Boomers and made the WNBL all-star five. She was the MVP for the 2010″“11 WNBL season and helped lead the Bulleen Boomers to the WNBL championship for the first time in the club’s history, while averaging 22.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks per game.

WNBA: Liz was selected second overall in the 2011 WNBA draft by the Tulsa Shock and is currently embarking on a successful rookie season.
