Muhammad Abdur-Rahim, Esq.

Muhammad Abdur-Rahim serves as Assistant Legal Counsel and Agent for Goodwin Sports Management (GSM). Prior to joining GSM, Muhammad practiced criminal, contract and immigration law at a Law Firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Muhammad’s professional experience also includes working for the Legal department of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats. While working for the Charlotte Bobcats, Muhammad drafted and reviewed legal agreements for the organization as it relates to Arena Facility Operations, National Basketball Association business, and other profit generating business ventures. During law school, Muhammad also had the great opportunity to clerk for the Honorable Judge John Corbett O’Meara of the United States District Court

Muhammad’s professional experience is complimented by his on the court career. A former Basketball player, Muhammad still holds the single game scoring record at Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia. A record once held by his older brother Shareef Abdur-Rahim. Muhammad played in college at the University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) for legendary Coach, Perry Watson. During Muhammad’s time at UDM he was honored on and off the court. At UDM, Muhammad held the position of Vice President for the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and was the recipient of The William Ebben Academic and Athletic Excellence Award. Muhammad has a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts from UDM and graduated Magna Cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan.
