In 1998, GSM partnered with Keven Davis of Gary Schubert Barer to secure an endorsement deal for Serena Williams with Puma. Although secured when Serena was just the 99th ranked player in the world, the deal was one of the highest paying shoe and apparel deals for a female professional athlete.
