Shareef Abdur-Rahim Joins Nike Basketball

In the summer of 1996, GSM negotiated a shoe and apparel deal for #2 overall pick Shareef Abdur-Rahim. Shareef would go on to promote several Nike Basketball products and star in several commercials, including the “Nike Camp Flight” commercial with Kevin Garnett.
